Will my account follow every trade the strategy executes?
Trades which are executed via copy trading are subject to deposit size, margin requirement, and drawdown. Due to the risky nature of copy trading, strategies will not trade if the trading account hits certain threshold levels. i.e. you have no available margin to trade. This may result in differing performance from the strategy providers' fact sheet.
In addition, a broker (counterparty) server may also affect the following and unfollowing of trades from a strategy provider. i.e. if a strategy provider is trading with one broker and you are trading with another broker, and your broker's server is unavailable to receive the strategy provider's trading signal. The strategy provider may continue to trade (execute and close) with their broker, whilst the trading signal which is being sent from the strategy provider to your broker cannot be executed into your trading account because your broker's server is down. This therefore may affect trading performance.
What is Equity growth and Balance growth?
Balance growth and Equity growth are different. Balance growth relates to total balance (including drawdowns) Equity Growth relates to the balance available for withdrawal.
How do you calculate performance?
We calculate 'Gain' via TWR, which calculates each trade according to the balance at the time of the trade, without excluding past trade's weight on the overall gain percentages. Therefore a gain is a compounded value.
For example:
- You deposit $10 (balance is now $10)
- You lose -$5 which is -50% (balance is now $5)
- You deposit another 95 (balance is now $100)
- You profit $6 which is 6% (balance is now $106)
Total gain is ((-5/10+1)(6/100+1)-1)100=((0.51.06)-1)*100=-47%
Total profit is = -$5 + $6 = $1
As you can see from the example above, it is possible to have a negative gain with a positive dollar profit outcome, and although the account profited $1 if you were to invest once at inception, the investment's value would be down by 47%. This formula also works vice versa, which means a positive gain value while having a negative profit value.
How do I log in to my managed account?

The performance within the Pella investment factsheet doesn't tally?
Statistics in this factsheet are calculated as compounded and therefore the yearly return is not a simple sum of the monthly returns.
Compounded method:
R0 = 0
Rn = Rn-1 + rn + rn · Rn-1 · 1%,
Where rn is monthly performance data (one value per month).
